Carbon Rain · Space shooter

A swarm that thinks.

Carbon Rain is a space shooter with an alien swarm that shares one battlefield mind. It flies in formation like a display team, passes orders you can see and hear and learns how you fight. Through the battle, the game tells a deep and moving story of alien consciousness, and of humanity’s growing awareness that consciousness is fundamental. Its sound is built with Xionia Audio’s synthesis engines, and the swarm’s AI draws on research from Xionia Labs.
